What is CBD?
CBD, short for cannabidiol, is one type of over a hundred different types of cannabinoids that can be found in the plants that are part of the cannabis family. Cannabinoids are naturally occurring compounds that exist in these plants and also within the human body, and they act on cannabinoid receptors, which are part of our endocannabinoid system.

Is CBD Legal in Europe?
In Europe, marijuana and cannabis laws differ from country to country. But in cases where the CBD-based products are legally produced and placed in the market of an EU (European Union) country, the principle of mutual recognition prohibits authorities of countries in Europe where CBD is not regulated from objecting to the marketing and sales of such products in the EU.
According to EU law, hemp growing is legal if the content of THC (tetrahydrocannabinol) does not exceed 0.2%. The standard is contained in the regulation (EC) n. 1672/2000 of the European Council, issued on 27 July 2000.
BAEYS products are THC-free.

What is the difference between CBD and THC?
Both CBD and THC are natural compounds found in the plants of the Cannabis genus. Both of them interact with the body’s endocannabinoid system, but they have different effects.
In short, THC is the main psychoactive compound in marijuana that gives the “high” sensation and is illegal in Europe.
CBD can be extracted from both hemp and marijuana. Hemp plants are cannabis plants that contain less than 0.3% THC, while marijuana plants are cannabis plants that contain higher concentrations of THC.
For our CBD gummies, we use organic and sustainable hemp, which are THC-free.

Will CBD get me high?
No, CBD won’t get you high. CBD doesn’t have psychoactive properties.
The psychoactive cannabinoid is THC. Our vegan CBD gummies are THC-free.
For our CBD gummies, we use organic and sustainable hemp, which are THC-free.

What is broad-spectrum CBD?
Broad-spectrum CBD is CBD extracted from the cannabis plant with all of the other compounds from the plant, like terpenes, oils, chlorophyll, and more, except for THC. That way, you get the entourage effect, which is the beneficial effect of all the compounds working together, as opposed to just one or two of these compounds working in isolation.
Since THC is extracted, broad-spectrum CBD doesn’t result in psychoactive effects, nor does it show up on drug tests.
